I have many years of experience as a manager in providing supervision and mentoring to staff in social care settings. 

 

I now offer  supervision and consultation to a range of professionals:

• Theraplay practitioners in training

• practitioners undertaking therapeutic work with children

• practitioners undertaking support work with children ( for example Teaching assistants in a 1- 1 role)

 

Reflective supervision is an opportunity to reflect on the child or familiy’s needs, the role being undertaken, support and skill building and development of the practitioner.
